Located along the Zambezi River across from Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe), the Lower Zambezi National Park extends approximately 20 miles (35 km) inland between the Chongwe River on the west and the Musenshensai River mouth, 55 miles (90 km) downstream.

The main attraction is canoe safaris on the Zambezi River. Elephant, buffalo, lion and a variety of antelope are often seen. Walks and day and night game drives are also offered.
